It’s a Saturday night in lockdown London and I have nothing better to do other than research some tea on our Bravo housewives and rewatch classic reruns of the Real Housewives of Atlanta (season 3 is HISTORY). Kim Zolciak became the subject of my research (well, more like digging) and I noticed she was consistently linked to rumours of having a gambling addiction. Unfortunately, the Daily Mail seemed to be the only other source which obtained a detailed amount of information, primarily from Don’t Be Tardy S08E03 ‘Nirvana, Nevada’ (I can’t believe this show has 8 seasons?). I was curious, so I streamed the episode. When the Biermann family first arrived on an RV road trip to Las Vegas, their suite was luxurious and spacious. Kim quickly went on to mention she’d barely be in the room because she knew she wouldn’t sleep and instead, spend all night long in the casino. Well, she was right. Long story short, Kim shows all signs of having a severe gambling addiction. She sacrificed 11 hours of sleep (and it didn’t seem like a sufficient amount of time for her) choosing to stay up all night (from an RV road trip with her family to Las Vegas) switching from the gaming machines, poker, cards — anything that was gambling. Brielle didn’t get any sleep either and kept Kim company all night. In the show, Kim was seen throwing $100 in the machines repeatedly. Kroy had a strict curfew of their RV to departure LV at 08:00 to visit the Grand Canyon. It was 07:58 and Kim’s eyes were hypnotised by the slot machines and she was snappy to anyone (Kroy) that reminded her that they’d have to leave soon. Understandably, he was getting frustrated. She referred to gambling as her ‘therapy’ and a ‘slice of heaven’. Kroy said he doesn’t know any therapist that would recommend 11 hours spent on an activity. Sources are saying she has spent about $250,000 on gambling and is therefore likely to be crippling in debt. Kim reportedly then went onto purchase thousand dollar scratch cards. The producers asked Kim’s younger children (sorry, I don’t know their names but they seemed maybe age 5 and 8?) if they knew what Kim was doing. Her child responded ‘yes, it’s where she goes to get money.’ At the end of the episode, the producers also asked if Kim managed to win big — or leave empty handed. She hesitated and then said neither, she’s more or less the same in terms of her financial status. Kroy snorted and then Kim looked away from the camera and drank from a red cup. Side note: Brielle questioned if a rock formation within the canyon was a volcano, to which her mother responded, “Just be pretty, honey.” TL:DR: Kim a history of a gambling addiction and this is evident on S08E03 Don’t Be Tardy. I watched, so you don’t have to. She’s fixated on gambling and spent 11 hours with Brielle doing it, it’s her main focus of the trip to Las Vegas. Her husband is finding difficulty controlling her habits and she cannot balance her family time and her gambling time. It seems as if she lost more than she won and reportedly has a debt of $250,000. We got a ton of info today, and most of it was surprisingly based on Kichijoji. The Metaverse stuff was shown first though, so that's where we'll start too. The first thing we get is a confirmation that the co-operation attacks we've seen thus far are officially called Show Time in the Japanese version of the game. Seeing how the English version of the original release changed some of the Engrish terminology, I wouldn't be surprised if this is slightly tweaked too. In any case, we get to see the entirety of Yusuke and Ann's "Show Time," thus knowing what Ann actually contributes to the attack this time around :P The next change was revealed so simply, but could be quite the game-changer. Your Personas now have "characteristics" that add side-effects to their attacks. For example, Captain Kidd can irritate the opponent which makes them more susceptible to Burn, Shock and Freeze. Johanna's attack also prompted a "The enemies are more irritable" notice, so I'm not sure if this effect triggering is down to chance or if I mistranslated the latter and she makes the enemies more susceptible to raging instead. Anyway, we see that this also affects Fusions. We see for example that, when creating Phoenix, we now get to choose its nature. Given there are three options, I assume we can choose between its materials' natures and its own default one. Phoenix's default characteristic halves the SP cost of Nuclear skills, but the player chooses one of the others for the final result. For the record, I used the literal translations for the three natures shown, but I assume the real (or at least the English) names will be much simpler. The SP-halving one for example would likely be called "(Element) Lineage" over "Fever disease lineage". The next sequence shows more accessories that grant Skills. This example shows a "Zero degree ring" being given to Ann to grant her Bufula. What's interesting is that the two items above it have "fire powder"/ "powder snow" in their names while the one below is "nuclear heat ring", which suggests we'll have items for each tier of Spell too - Bufu and Agi for the "powder" rings and Bufula and Agilao for the other rings, in this case. The menu screen shows that we can now press R2 to switch to a second screen's worth of information - in this case we go from a short description of the item to a more in-depth description of what it does. Finally, we see a black and red question mark around the Shadow Joker's about to attack, which is presumably a new way of indicating we don't know how a certain element - Phys, in this case - interacts with it (though there's a small chance that this is also an indicator that Joker's attack will do something out of the ordinary, as he deals Technical damage here). Something else worth mentioning is that the battle UI describes Ann's Bufula as having the SP cost cut due to the "essence of evil". I'm not sure if that's translated correctly though, so I'd greatly appreciate help for that! Maybe it means "of Shadows" or something instead? The final segment of the Metaverse shows off the new Baton Pass. Visually, each stage of the Pass is denoted with a different colour - red for the first, yellow for the second and turquoise for the third (which is also the hottest colour of fire). These colours also appear as highlights to the damage numbers that teammate inflicts. The UI also denotes that the attack "and recovery amount" increase with each pass (and while the HP increase is always ~15%, the SP increase indeed increases by 1% each time), but there are several new elements in play too. For starters, in addition to the standard power up Morgana and Haru are shown to have Rank 3 in Baton Passing with the latter also having her Skill costs set to 0. The Ranking is explained in the second half of the Report, but not the cost reduction. Is this the result of reaching the top level of Baton Passing or the result of reaching the top level AND having the maximum Rank? The translated version of the trailer confirms that the cost removal is a result of having passed the baton between every member of the team. As an aside, this footage seems to confirm that Morgana has access to Baton Pass in Kamoshida's Castle as speculated here. This is useful since his Confidant is automatic and we couldn't use it otherwise, but what if everyone now gets Baton Pass by default (and not just Ann)? It'd make it much easier to slot our favourites onto our team ASAP without sacrificing efficiency! Edit: And as u/LivWulfz pointed out, Haru is able to receive a Baton Pass in Palace 5 despite her Confidant not starting until after this point, further lending credence to this theory!
Q&A
Both of these questions are pure fluff and just here to drum up hype. In the first Morgana affirms that the original story of Persona 5 has been left intact despite the new additions and to wait until later for more on Takuto (for the record, he's also set ot get a Character Trailer according to the website). In the second he reveals a new Persona available to be fused and I sadly have no idea who it is. We don't know if this Persona will also appear as a Shadow or not, nor if the concept of "Fusion-only Personas" will still be a thing this time since we saw Jatayu (who initially was such a Persona) show up in the Casino.
School Life
Today this section was all about Kichijoji and boy is there a lot to do here! We start with Penguin Sniper and the conversation we saw in the reveal trailer, though now we finally get to see how this place works. First, you get to decide whether you'll play alone or with friends. While we don't see if there's a limit to how many you can invite (for example, maybe you can only invite three friends and the rest only show up for story segments), we do learn what the two activities do - and it seems both function do very different things! Darts: When deciding who to invite, we see a list of teammates along with their Baton Pass Rank, which tells us that this is a brand new Rank and not simply a visual indicator of Baton Passing. The UI in the right corner tells us that there are three Ranks with increasing benefits:

In this scene, Ren invites Ryuji, Ann and Makoto with Ann Ranking up to 3. The dialogue seems to suggest she and Ren are on a team with Ryuji and Makoto on the other, so does this mean we can only Rank up one teammate at a time, or will they all Rank up and the scene just ended too quickly? Also, are we guaranteed a Rank up with each visit or is there a separate "affinity/ EXP gauge" to fill for these? Finally, how do Ren and Morgana Rank up? We get to play darts as Ren (which takes the form of a minigame), so it's possible Ren gets a bit of EXP whenever he plays, but how can Morgana benefit from this? He was Rank 1 at the start of this clip but Rank 3 in the Palace so we know it's possible! What if this is what the chance to play alone is for? After all, playing with others seems a no-brainer if there's nothing to gain from coming here alone, so perhaps playing by yourself gives bonuses to Morgana (and perhaps a larger EXP boost to Ren, assuming these Ranks are indeed EXP based?) Edit: But Morgana was an option when selecting people to play with as a group too, so what was that about? We know Morgana's pretty deft with his paws since he can pick locks, but wouldn't the Thieves draw too much attention if they picked him up so he could throw darts with them? Thanks for the reminder, u/Andivari! Edit post translation: LettuceSauce's video shows that Morgana states you can invite Phantom Thieves and friends to play darts. If this is true, what good would inviting non-Thief friends do? Maybe raise Ren's own Baton Pass Rank? Or is this simply a subtle way of referring to Kasumi and Akechi, who don't seem to be Thieves despite working with them (from what we know so far)? Billiards: What's strange is that so far we've only ever seen Ren play here despite being with friends in other clips and screenshots, and this may explain why. Here, he attempts (and succeeds) with a trickshot, which impresses the Thieves (this time including Yusuke) enough to accomplish two things. First, it raises the Thieves' "Technical Rank", which is another new mechanic. The bonus for Ranks 1 and 2 are the same (Technical Power Up) while Rank 3 adds (Critical Rate Up). The second is that this boosts Ren's Charm. But is it a coincidence that Ren gained Charm and also succeeded with such a stylish shot? Perhaps there are multiple trickshots you can perform and each one awards a certain social stat? For example, using angles to get a ball into a pocket could raise Intelligence instead. Another question is: why the 28th of August? In the original game, we could only act in the Evening on that day (we're working in Leblanc in the morning and setting off fireworks with Futaba in the After School timeslot), so has that changed or is this an Evening activity too (like something else we'll see later)? Also, will Futaba even be an option when deciding who to play darts with? After all, she has no need for Baton Passes, and while she appears in group shots, those could just be cutscenes. Then again, we still don't know how she gets her All-Out Attack (that'll probably be saved for her character trailer) - maybe bringing her here will let us "Pass" to her and trigger said attack? The next clip introduces an evening hangout spot: a Jazz club. Here Ren has invited Makoto and the atmosphere of the club is said to have "influenced her true self" which translates to a level up. Now, will bringing someone here induce an automatic level up or just granted them a ton of EXP? If it's the former, will the character simply be raised to the next Level threshold (e.g. Makoto would still have 15007 points to go until Lv 36 no matter how close she was to 35 before) or will the gain be "equivalent" to a full level instead (e.g. if she was 34.5 before she's now Level 35.5). And if the latter, will the EXP granted scale up with the Persona's current level, or will the effectiveness of the club drop off the higher the user's level gets? Edit: I looked at Johanna's level up again; she actually goes from Level 33 (with 4714 EXP to go until 34) to 35, which is why she only learns Dekunda now - a Skill she learns at 34 in the base game and here as well. This suggests that the jazz club does indeed grant EXP and not a flat level up, though it remains to be seen whether this will scale up with the character's level (or with difficulty, for that matter). I've added a new screenshot to the School Life gallery showing this. Finally, how will Ren benefit from this? Given you can walk up to the club by yourself, I assume you have the option of entering it by yourself too (perhaps when you approach you have the option to call a friend as at Penguin Sniper or the confessional in the original game) and this lets Ren take in the atmosphere in silence (or smuggle Morgana in to give him a boost). And if so, will his active Persona be the only one to benefit or will they all Level up? In any case, the level up screen reveals Johanna's characteristic: "Troubled Mind" which fits Makoto. Will this change when Johanna transforms then, since Anat represents Makoto making peace with herself in her Confidant, or will Anat come with a version of Troubled Mind that adds an extra effect, since these characteristics may be too integral to people's playstyles to replace so freely? The next location is an old temple that lets you increase your max SP. As I stated in the album, an increase of 3 seems pitiful compared to the gym workouts, so what's the point of coming here? Perhaps there are some incenses you can burn to get more out of this place? Also, will you be able to bring a friend here - perhaps the SP you'd gain is shared with them since neither of you are truly "isolated" - or does Morgana's presence here deny that possibility? The final location we see in-depth is an old clothes store, which is the solution to the problem of having too much early game gear inventory as, not only can you sell your old gear for money, you also gain points for doing so. Here, Ren gains 40 points for selling 4 items, but since they all had different prices I can't be sure if the scoring simple is a simple "10 points for 1 item". Also, the use of the phrase "protective gear" means I'm not sure if you can only sell armour or if you can also unload your accessories here too. (Edit: According to the translation, Morgana isn't specific in what you can sell in his description of the shop, so it's possible that you can indeed sell anything here.) In any case, among the prizes are two status recovery items, a souvenir (a set of used clothes) and a belt which grants the wearer Auto-Masukukaja. We saw this in the Thief Life segment with the Zero degree ring, but even on a white background items that grant Skills have a grey label saying "Additional Skill" - it's good to know such items are clearly marked! The last thing we see of Kichijoji is a quick reel of a bunch of different locations. The top left shows a liquor store, but the dialogue suggests Ren is there for information - remember that the reveal trailer had Iwai saying someone was in Kichijoji, so this may be what we're following up on- so this location will likely be similar to Crossroads (or maybe even a replacement if the two end up being too similar). The top right reveals that Stoneon is...a shop that sells stones. We see a partial list of what they sell and one of the items is a Black Rock, meaning we hopefully have a reliable source of those this time (I believe the vendor in Shibuya only sells one throughout the whole game)! The bottom left shows off a stationary store from where you can buy gifts, with one example being a postcard. The bottom right shows a street vendor selling Chinese dumplings, though not before we hear some chatter about the end of the Medjed arc (the date also matches: August 29th is 8 days after they're dealt with). Finally, Morgana goes over the character trailers that have already come out and draws attention to the end of Ryuji's with a "Hey, is everything okay?" Hi Mr. Reddit and RRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE army! Im new to reddit so Im sorry if I somehow mess up. Also Mr. Reddit you can read this and use it on your youtube channel if you want i have a few other entitled parents/people stories Backstory: I work in the infamous Sin City, NV at a casino at the end of the strip and i work retail (Dun Dun DUUUUUN! shocker) Im also 27 but look like im 16 and I am mentally disabled so everything is slow processed in my brain but quick to get really peeved off and I am 5 foot 4 inches, im also very sensitive to many things so even now Im still shaking with the remants of my panic/anxiety attack. English is main language but grammar sucks. Theres Me: Mono Super: My awesome supervisor and the EP: Entitled Person Now to the story! Now this just happened to me about.... an hour or so ago, I was cleaning up my stores of dust, etc, and taking care of my "normal" customers that I have had a wonderful time talking too when one of my coworkers call me over to say that my Super needed me at the WTLV store (Welcome to Las Vegas) so she could get a 10 minute break and that she would watch the stores so I went over. Sure we were short staffed but Id help out whenever I could and i had 4 or so hours left before I left for a week vacation. So I head over and this is how it goes: Super: Hey Mono! is it my 10? Me: Yeah, go enjoy your 10 super My Super nods as she grabs her water bottle and then walking out to do whatever she wanted for her break as i went behind the counter to get the duster and Windex cleaner and paper towels to clean the glass shelves in the store and a few of my songs came up so i sang off-key and along with the lyrics and dancing around (Im a dork so sue me, also i cant dance so...). It was about 5 minutes into my Super's break and I was greeting customers and laughing with them when they say that they have "seen me in the hall" and myself saying "Oh yeah they have me all over the place" As I continued to clean and chat, making sure the customers got what they needed and incomes the EP, I greet him as normal Me: "Hello sir, welcome and how may I assist you?" EP: (in a gruff entitled voice): "Hello and not yet" I nodded even when my "Oh hell hes got a bamboo stick up his butt" senses went off but I kept my smile; checked out the other customers and asked them to come back and to enjoy their night out. I kept my eyes on the EP as he walked around the store picking up random items like: LV cups, mugs, shot glasses, stuffed animals and so on. so I went to him so I wouldnt get bored just standing by the cash register. When I got close by the EP shoved all his items into my arms roughly as I catch all the breakable items (there was 6 shot glasses, 2 coffee cups, 4 mugs and a stuffed animal...) I stared at him as I sighed quietly and rolled my eyes behind his back. He looked around more before finally talking: EP: Does this store of any drinks? Me: No sir, but two of my stores inside the casino do sell Pepsi products and alcohol but I do not He stopped moving and i swore I saw all his blood go into his face and I backed up a little frightened due to my past and angry people/drunk people. EP turned to me with a glare that could put Satan in his place before he started to BLOW up: EP: DO YOU THINK I WANT TO BLOODY WALK MORE THEN I HAVE TO?!?!?!? Me: (shaking like a newborn leaf now and studdering) W-Well i-if you r-really n-need a d-drink s-sir you a-are g-gonna n-need to w-walk e-either down t-the hall o-or g-go down s-stairs p-past t-the t-tables. EP: OH HELL NO! YOU WILL GET ME A DRINK OR ALL MY ITEMS IN YOUR PATHETIC ARMS FORFREE! I stared at him as he took the 3 steps to get into my face; I felt my eyes water and my anxiety/panic attack coming in fast as i glanced over at the door for anyone to come save me but I wasnt so lucky... oh screw me in the butt. Me: S-sir p-please back up... I w-will call the s-security and i c-cant give a-anything f-for- EP interrupts me with the "get me your manager" and that he "demands free items for me being incompetent and stupid". Honestly he was the incompetent and stupid one as I closed my eyes to stop my water works as I turned around put all the items on the counter near the register as he is still screaming at me and im shaking worse then normal and i cant hold the scanner right or grab the items, my chest aching and im already on the verge to hide and rock myself till i can calm myself down somewhere quiet and away from other people. My Super comes back in and sees me near in tears and shaking so badly it looked like i was going to puke with the EP red in the face and glaring at me. Super: Mono? whats wrong and whats going on? I couldnt speak and continued shaking but i was looking at her with wide teary eyes silently begging her to help me with this guy but as usual the EP barks at her EP: I demand to be compensated for this incompetent and stupid girl who isn't older then 16 years old My super sighed and put her hands on my shoulders causing me to jump; startled before she leans over to my ear and whispered Super: Mono go into the break room ill deal with this guy. I nodded then slipped behind her and into the hidden break room and shut the door before finally allowing myself to cry and pull my feet to my chest and rocked. Im not sure how long it was but the EP was screaming at my super and she called the security with a special code that i couldnt remember but it seemed like a few hours but it must have been a few minutes when the room went quiet before she opened the door; seeing me rocking back and forth, tears staining my cheeks and I looked like utter crap Super: Mono hes banned and he wanted $270 worth of stuff for free saying stuff like "that minor shouldnt be working here" and "she was disrespectful to me before she broke down" and so on I laughed weakly but slowly looked out of the door to see him gone and the pile of items still on the counter. My super allowed me to calm down in the room for about an hour before letting me leave a little early and so far I havent seen the EP again but lets not jinx myself because if i see him i would probably curb stomp him in anger and frustration. Sorry its not so... dramatic as normal but its my first time having an attack this bad in years and normally i have my service dog (in training and i train him personally) with me to help keep me grounded

Physical Description and Personality: Linette is tall and lanky, her silhouette is often hunched over, and her long white hair is rarely ever in any particular state of order. She has one blue eye and one purple eye, which she owns and reflects in her clothing. Since leaving the marines, she has worn an oversized dark blue shirt, similarly colored (though much better fitting) pants, and always three purple bandanas. The placement of these bandanas changes based on her mood, the activities she’s partaking in, and the weather. Common locations are: In her hair, around her forehead, wrists, upper arms, and ankles. In terms of personality, she’s a dreamer. She often seeks out stories. Not those written in books, those lacked a certain charm. Word of mouth was far more entertaining, it reminded her of her youth, and most importantly, made it easy for her to retell the story later. Beyond that, as a cook, she scoffs at those who wield swords, thinking of them as weak. Swords, like all sharp objects, are clean. They should be used for work that is clean, like cooking. Blunt instruments, like the sauce pan she wields, are better suited to the dirty and unrefined task that is combat.
Not happy how the sequels are going? I've written a screen treatment for my own! (technically no spoilers)
Personally, I was very happy with The Last Jedi, but some people are very unhappy with it. Either way, a few years ago when work on The Force Awakens was announced, I wrote a brief screen treatment for my own version of Star Wars VII, and now I've decided to get it out, dust it off, and unveil it to /StarWars. It follows a different continuity, so don't expect to see much you've seen before. Anyways, here it is. A long time ago in a galaxy far far away…. STAR WARS EPISODE VII THE FORCE DIVIDED CLICK HERE FOR THE TITLE CRAWL It is a peaceful and prosperous time. In the decades since the fall of the Empire, the NEW REPUBLIC has formed and spread across the Galaxy, promising peace to all. With the sinister Sith extinguished, a NEW JEDI ORDER, led by MASTER LUKE SKYWALKER, has arisen and built a new Jedi temple on Yavin. They aim to keep the peace and protect the Galaxy. Not all is as well as it seems, however. The smuggler and war hero HAN SOLO has vanished, and GENERAL LEIA SKYWALKER has poured the New Republic’s resources into finding him and her son, to no avail. Even now, she has taken a REPUBLIC BATTLESHIP to his last known location, the DOSMERAN SYSTEM. Meanwhile, in the OUTER RIM, an uprising is underway. VIOLENT REVOLUTIONARIES based on the planet Kyushu have begun a BLOODY REBELLION…. ACT ONE On Kyushu, we see a mining village meant to provide the New Republic with spice. The village is in chaos as bombing run after bombing run is performed by unidentified ships. One of the village elders makes his way through the chaos and up a mountain towards a radio tower overlooking the town. The village elder enters the radio station. Grabbing a microphone, he begins frantically calling for help, announcing that the village is under attack. Suddenly, power is cut to the building. Everything goes dark. The elder watches in horror as a shuttle lands outside, and a cloaked militaristic figure exits, followed by several similarly dressed guards wielding blasters. The figure enters the building, wearing a mask over its face, sees the elder, and in a distorted voice announces “This one is calling for backup! Take him away!” As the elder is seized by two guards, he spits at the masked figure and says “It won't work, your little revolution! Democracy will win in the end!” The masked figure ignores him, so he spits in its face again. This time, it pauses and stares at him. Immediately, he looks panicked. As he gasps for air and clutches at his throat, his face turns blue. Finally, he collapses, and the two guards turn over his lifeless body. As the three militants leave the radio station, two other troops come out with flamethrowers and torch it. As the shuttle ascends it flies over the rest of the town, which has been thoroughly torched. Back on Yavin, Luke Skywalker is training a bunch of younglings with practice lightsabers. Suddenly, he senses a disturbance in the Force. Sitting down, he is approached by a youngling, who he tells that class is finished for today. As he sits, his Com beeps. Opening it, he is connected with a hologram of General Leia Skywalker . “Did you sense it, too?” he asks “I'm afraid so.” “It's been more frequent. These are difficult times. Get home soon, and may the force be with you.” “And with you.” Millions of light years away, Leia closes her com. She is on a frigate, the Majestic, in hyperspace surrounded by four unarmored guards. Meanwhile, on the middle-rim planet Dosmeran, we see a bustling casino. In its shadow lies endless slums, just as primitive and dark as the casino is shimmering and futuristic and bright. Amongst these slums, we find a tavern, Rask’s Cantina, and inside, the legendary smuggler Han Solo and his first mate Chewbacca are anxiously awaiting someone’s arrival. The door opens, and the cantina goes silent as a large man dressed in red enters and sits. This is Edan, leader of a competing pirate gang. He sits across from Chewbacca and Han and stares at them in silence. Finally, after some time he asks “Well?” “Look, Mr. Edan, I’m sorry about your fleet. We can pay double what it’s worth when…” Edan cuts him off “Ha! That fleet was the finest bunch of pirates this side of Hosnian, and the ships they piloted were priceless, pillaged from the Empire itself! No amount of money could replace that!” “Then ships. We’ll get you ships.” Chewie growls in agreement. Edan stands over the table and grabs Han by his shirt, pulling him close. “You better get me ships. Or else somebody…” He pulls back slightly to reveal a blaster aimed at Han’s throat. “...Is gonna lose their daddy.” Chewbacca roars and pulls Edan away, who fires a shot at Han but misses. It explodes on the ceiling. The barkeep stands up and begins shouting, then produces a blaster of his own and fires at Han. Chewbacca ducks, then re-emerges with his bowcaster and begins firing suppressing fire at the barkeep. At this point, the entire cantina erupts into gunfire as an all-out brawl begins. Han and Chewbacca try to slip away, but Edan follows. Han turns around and shoots Edan in the chest and he collapses. Han makes some cool quip, like “So much for repaying you”, but much cooler, and he and Chewbacca retreat out the back door. In the distance, we can see a New Republic assault lander descending on the tavern as the pair slips away into the streets towards the Falcon. The New Republic troops open fire on the tavern at large, reducing the building to rubble and presumably killing everyone inside. As the pair boards the Millennium Falcon, Huxley, the son of Han and Leia, powers on the ship. “Ready for departure, Captain!” He announces, to which Han congratulates him. The pair pulls off, but soon finds six Republic X-Wing Fighters chasing them down. They fend off the X-Wings, destroying one or two of them, and protect themselves long enough to make the jump to hyperspace. ~~~~~ Aboard the Majestic, General Leia Skywalker sits meditating. In one hand is a pendant, containing a shard of kyber crystal, which she clutches delicately. In the other hand, held equally delicately, is a cup of tea. As the Majestic leaves hyperspace, it shudders, and her tea spills slightly. This breaks her meditation, and she goes to the bridge. On the bridge, her first mate Ualan Fan announces that they are approaching Dosmeran. He also mentions that he’s been monitoring local law enforcement transmissions, and that six Republic fighters were scrambled to pursue a suspect who matched Han’s description. She inquires whether he had a boy with him, but Fan does not know. Leia, Fan, and her four armed guards park the Majestic in Dosmeran's orbit and descend in a lander. When they land, Fan advises Leia that she is probably not a welcome presence on the planet, and that she should watch her back. She agrees, and decides to use a piece of cloth to veil her face. Nobody is in Republic uniform. The six arrive at Rask’s and find the place crawling with both local law enforcement and Republic troops. Leia unveils her face and identifies herself, and the Republic troops snap to attention. From out of the building comes a Republic Captain, who identifies himself as Captain Reed, and he explains to her what happened. Fan points out that it sounds like Solo, and Leia agrees. They survey the building. Republic troops work to contain the blaze from the blaster fire, while corpses litter the floor. Leia points to the bar, where Rask himself lays partially exploded and burnt behind the destroyed bar. “It would take a wookie bowcaster to pack that kind of punch.” She turns back to Cpt. Reed and asks where the perps went. Reed explains that, after the attack, the fugitives boarded an old freighter and held off six X-Wings, downing two, before making the jump to hyperspace. They managed to track their direction, but couldn’t plot an exact location, but they appeared to be near the Endor system. ~~~~~ Back on Yavin 4, Luke sits eating in his chamber. His communicator buzzes, and a hologram of General Leia appears. She informs Luke that they’ve tracked down Solo and requests that he meet them on Endor. Luke readies two of his most promising padawans, Asher and Jayde, as well as the droids R2D2 and C3PO, and they board Luke’s personal cruiser, the Starkiller, and makes the jump to hyperspace towards Endor. ~~~~~ On Dosmeran, we see the burnt out cantina again. Republic troops are beginning to carry away the corpses for burial. Suddenly, the masked figure appears again. Surprised, Captain Reed greets it as “General”. The General says that he is not pleased with the reports he is receiving from the investigation, and has decided to check himself. Captain Reed says that many of the corpses have already been buried, but the General insists on discovering whether or not a BlasTech DL-44 blaster was used. Captain Reed says there’s no way to know for certain, but the blast marks were consistent with the DL-44, to which the General force-chokes him and drags him towards his face. With Captain Reed inches from the General’s mask we see vapor form and hit him in the face as the General demands he finds out. The General then turns to leave, and only once he’s completely off-screen does Captain Reed drop to the ground massaging his neck. ~~~~~ In orbit above Endor, the crew of the Millenium Falcon are making repairs. Huxley Skywalker-Solo dons a space suit and goes EVA to repair the blaster damage to the ship, and he remarks how much he wishes they had an AstroMech droid to do this for him. Han insists that he used to do this kind of thing all the time, to which Chewbacca growls something. Han covers his com and whispers to Chewbacca “I know I didn’t, but someone did.” A thumping sound is heard as the Majestic comes out of hyperspace, and Chewbacca and Han begin to panic that they successfully followed him. With Huxley still on EVA and holding on by a tether, they begin landing maneuvers on Endor. Huxley must get into the Falcon before they enter the atmosphere. As the Falcon descends on Endor, we realize that it’s no longer the moon we remembered. The explosion of the second Death Star several decades ago has left much of the world charred, and it has developed large icy poles. Dead trees litter the surface, and a large debris field where the Death Star crashed into the moon almost gives the moon itself the appearance of the Death Star II. As the crew lands, the once lush rainforests lay dead and frozen, and thick grey snow blankets the ground. The crew lays silently in the Falcon as Han tracks the Majestic. Leia’s ship comes very close to discovering them, and pretty much flies right over them, but the grey ship blends in well with the grey snow, and the Majestic passes over, landing a few miles west of their position. Huxley doesn’t know what to do, and Han suggests making a run for it, but Chewbacca says they should wait it out. Above Endor, a third ship arrives from hyperspace. The Starkiller, piloted by Luke Skywalker, descends into the atmosphere and lands alongside the Majestic. Luke, Asher, and Jayde disembark, leaving the droids to watch the ship. They walk over to the Majestic and board. On board the Republic ship, they are greeted by Ualan Fan, who tells them that General Leia is getting ready and will greet them shortly, and they are welcome to wait for her on board to avoid the frigid temperature outside. Jayde hears a whisper, and asks if anyone else hears it. Seconds later, Asher hears the whisper, and the two go to investigate. They make it no further than a few feet down the hallway to a locked door when they hear a door open behind them. Back in the main room, the two Skywalkers are reunited, and Luke calls for the padawans to meet his sister. Leia tells Luke that they’ve tracked the Falcon to this specific region of Endor, and that she can feel her son’s presence very nearby. They bundle up and head out into the dead forest to find him. ~~~~~ ACT TWO ~~~~~ At the Falcon, Huxley has ventured back outside to complete his repairs. Chewbacca has gone with him for protection. Huxley confides in Chewbacca that sometimes he questions his father’s authority, and that he misses his mom. Chewbacca parrots what Han has been telling him, that it’s for the best and his mother has no time for him. They work on the repairs. Suddenly, a blaster bolt explodes against the Falcon, and Chewbacca lets loose a bowcaster bolt into the darkness. The two try to make their way to the door, where Han appears and reaches for his blaster, only for it to not be there Indiana Jones-style. Huxley lifts his father’s blaster from his own belt and fires into the darkness, hearing a screech as his mark hits. A small bear-like creature runs out wielding a club, and Chewbacca hits it with his bowcaster. Horrified, the trio re-enter the Falcon and close it up. As blaster fire thuds against the outside of the ship, they turn on floodlights and reveal that they are surrounded by murderous ewoks, bearing old Stormtrooper arms left over from the Imperial Shield Base that was on the moon during the Civil War. Some are even wearing pieces of stormtrooper armor. Han fires up the ship’s blaster and uses the turret to kill several ewoks, scaring the rest away. ~~~~~ A few miles away, Luke pauses at the sound of blaster fire. After a beat, the others hear it too, and they head towards it. Soon, they hear noise in the snow ahead of them. They hide as an army of stormtrooper-clad ewoks rush by screaming and retreating. One drops a blaster, which Leia identifies as Civil War era Stormtrooper tech. Luke points out that they might have to be afraid of what the ewoks were running from more than the ewoks themselves. They proceed with caution, with Asher wielding the extra blaster. Presently, they come across the clearing that is lit up by the Falcon, which sits in the middle of it. Han and Chewbacca are out repairing the exterior of the ship. Leia stands and calls out to Han, demanding he return her son. Han insists that her son is safe, but he doesn’t want to see her. He says that her New Republic is everything they fought to destroy in the Empire, and that he’d rather have his son grow up as a smuggler like him than spread injustice throughout the Galaxy. Leia insists he’s exaggerating, and plays stupid when Han mentions things like the massacres at Dosmeran and Kyushu. He insists that they fought for freedom, but she’s let the New Republic slip into the same trap. At this point, Luke steps in and demand that Han at least give them audience. Han asks why he would want to see Luke, to which Luke responds “I saved your life, Han. At least give me this.” Han hesitates for a minute, but Huxley appears and opens fire on his mom and uncle with his father’s blaster. Leia is hit and collapses in the snow. Luke tries to pick her up, but she insists that it’s too late and he should escape while he can. Luke, Jayde, and Asher retreat into the forest, leaving Leia bleeding out in the snow. ~~~~~ Aboard the Millennium Falcon, Han confronts Huxley, asking him what the hell he just did. They argue over whether it was right to shoot Leia, and Huxley raises his hand in anger and punches Han, who stumbles backwards and falls into his seat, nose crooked and bleeding. Han glares at Huxley for a minute, before muttering “I should’ve left you to rot with your mother” and stumbling back into his quarters on the ship. Huxley sits down and thinks about what he did. He reaches into his jacket and pulls out his father’s blaster, setting it on the table. He then searches through his trunks in his personal bedchambers until he produces his own lightsaber. He ignites it, staring at the blue blade. ~~~~~ Above Endor, another ship comes out of hyperspace. It is the Avenger, a New Republic Destroyer. Around it, several other New Republic battleships appear. A lander descends down towards the planet. Leia’s body lays in the snow near the Falcon. Silently, two New Republic soldiers appear over her crumpled form and signal over the rest of their platoon. The soldiers pick Leia up and carry her back towards their lander. She’s alive, but just barely. ~~~~~ Huddled in a nearby cave, Asher and Jayde try to comfort Luke about the loss of his sister, but he insists that he can still feel her, that she’s still alive. More importantly, he now knows that his nephew is still alive, and needs his help. Luke reveals to Asher and Jayde that Huxley was a student of his who showed great promise, but was barely trained when he stole a lightsaber and ran off with Han. He explains that, as an untrained Jedi, Huxley poses a great threat, and that he’ll have to be dealt with safely but non-lethally, as he also still has great promise and should be spared. The sound of a spaceship cracks through the night, and Asher says he hopes they’re friendly. Something else howls in the darkness, and you can faintly hear the cries of an ewok war party somewhere. ~~~~~ On board the Avenger, the General stands before Mon Mothma, who is like 70 at this point. She inquires about General Skywalker, and the General assures her that she was recovered and is being given medical treatment. She is expected to survive. The General tells Mothma that technically the encounter on Endor was an attempt on a Republic official’s life, and that it cannot be tolerated. Mothma sighs, and then gives the General full permission to begin a military strike against Han Solo and capture him and the boy dead or alive. ~~~~~ In the cave, Luke and Jayde are asleep. Asher is standing watch, and beginning to drift off, when he hears the whispering again. He snaps awake and silently walks past the other sleeping Jedi and into the depths of the cave. Igniting his blue lightsaber to light his way, he follows the whispering deeper into the cave, until he sees that it’s coming through a gap too small to walk through. He turns off his lightsaber and gets on his hands and knees. Crawling through the gap, Asher finds himself in the Majestic. The lights are off initially, but as he stands up red running lights turn on in the hallway, guiding him towards the doorway to Leia’s chambers. The whispering beckons him on. As he creeps through the silent spaceship, the whispering intensifies, until he is standing before the doorway. He presses a button, and the door opens into Leia’s chamber, which is also bathed in red. It looks as if it has been ransacked, with clothes scattered here and there. On the bed are several outfits, including a mask that is identical to that of The General. Asher is oblivious to the connotation, but the audience should start to realize it. The whisper intensifies as Asher reaches for the mask, but just before he can catch it he is awoken by Jayde, who informs him that he fell asleep on the watch and she’s relieving him. He is back in the cave and goes to sleep. ~~~~~ Chewbacca enters Han’s chamber and asks if he’s okay. Still nursing a broken nose, Han tells Chewie that their position has been compromised. They express that they would just give the kid to Leia at this point if they could, and Chewie contemplates dumping him in the snow, but Han won’t let him. Instead, they lock Huxley in his bedchamber and venture out into the snow to recover Leia’s body, but when they discover the boot prints and absence of a body, they realize that the Republic is closer than they thought. They board the ship and prepare for takeoff. ~~~~~ Aboard the Majestic, the droids are scanning for signs of life. They find Luke and the padawans in the cave, but can’t locate Leia so they radio in. Jayde tells them that Leia has been killed by her son, and they begin to panic. They try to establish contact with the Avenger but cannot. Continuing their scan for lifeforms, they find a large mass of something living heading towards Luke and the padawans’ position. They radio Jayde, who wakes up the others. The Jedi exit the cave and find that they have been set upon by wolf-like creatures. They run back towards the Majestic, but the creatures are gaining on them. Finally, the creatures catch up and Luke and the Padawans are forced to stand and fight. They manage to fend off the wolves with their lightsabers, but Luke’s mechanical hand is severely damaged in the process, causing him to drop his lightsaber. They continue their trek back to the Majestic. ~~~~~ The crew of the Falcon begin the take-off sequence. They rise above the treeline and briefly see the rising sun above the ashy snowstorm covering the planet, but then the Avenger descends upon them and begins firing on them. Chewbacca pilots while Han shoots X-Wings out of the sky as the Avenger tries desperately to shoot them down. In the commotion, Huxley uses his lightsaber to cut his way out of his bedchamber and attempts to murder Chewbacca, who throws him to the side. Han abandons the gun to protect his crew and pulls his blaster on his son, but cannot bring himself to fire. Huxley grins, tells Han that he’s weak just like Leia always said, and beheads Han with his lightsaber. Chewbacca pounces towards Huxley, leaving nobody to pilot the Falcon. An X-Wing shoots the cockpit, disabling the controls, and the Falcon plummets back into Endor’s atmosphere. The X-Wings pull off, assuming the crew to be dead. The Falcon falls through the atmosphere with Huxley and Chewbacca locked in combat inside. Chewbacca knocks Hux’s lightsaber out of his hand, and it falls out the gaping hole where the cockpit used to be. Huxley grabs his father’s DL-44 and shoots the wookie, who cries out in pain. The Falcon collides with the burnt out forest, which explodes into charcoal dust, and eventually comes crashing down to the ground and ignites. ~~~~~ Already in pain, Luke is forced to sit down by feeling the loss of his friend, Han. They can hear the explosion as the ship falls to the ground, and can see the smoke trail it left in the growing dawn light. Jayde sits alongside him, attempting to comfort him, but Asher insists that they have to keep moving if they want a chance of survival. Presently, they continue towards the Majestic. ~~~~~ Aboard the Avenger, The General is informed that the Falcon has been shot down, and that the fugitives are presumed dead. The General orders a search party to be sent down to find the Jedi and bring them in for questioning, as they are “guilty by association”, as well as a second search party to be sent down to find the wreck of the Millennium Falcon and ensure that there are no survivors. Once the search party departs, the General asks for her own ship to be readied, as she says she doesn’t trust the Republic soldiers to do a “thorough job” with it. As she said, “ensure there are NO survivors”. ~~~~~ ACT THREE ~~~~~ On the surface of Endor, we see the sun rise over the burning wreckage of the Millennium Falcon. Though is is engulfed in flames, it is not so mangled that we can’t tell what it is. Inside, Chewbacca and Huxley lay side by side, unconscious. Chewbacca comes to, turns over, groans, then realizes the danger. He tries to wake Huxley, but to no avail. The boy is severely injured, and bleeding from his face. Chewbacca pulls Huxley clear of the wreckage, then turns to go back in for Han’s corpse, but the Falcon continues burning even stronger. Chewbacca knows that, even if he were able to get back in, there wouldn’t be much of Han’s body left to bury, and it seems fitting that a captain go down with his ship. Chewbacca sits next to Huxley’s limp, bloody body and watches the fire. He notices an abandoned Imperial outpost nearby, and makes note of it as a place to stay warm. Suddenly, the atmospheric crack of a descending spaceship sounds. Chewie looks up and sees two Republic landers descending. He panics, picking up the boy, and runs into the forest in the direction of the Imperial outpost. The Republic lander comes to rest adjacent to the Falcon’s wreckage, and a squad of Republic troops disembark, led by Captain Reed. Reed orders them to search for survivors, and one soldier comments that nobody could survive the inferno. They secure the perimeter and wait for the fire to die down before they can carry out their search. ~~~~~ Exhausted, the Jedi finally make it to the Majestic. They inform Ualan Fan that they believe Leia to be dead and that, in addition to now being the commander of the Majestic, as far as they’re concerned he is now a General for the New Republic. They grab the droids and are about to retreat to the Starkiller for takeoff, when Fan informs them that the Falcon was shot down and everyone inside it presumed dead. Luke is taken aback, as he assumes that he had only felt Leia’s death, but slowly realizes that this means Leia may still be alive. He leaves the padawans with the Majestic and sets off on his own in the Starkiller to find her, presuming she’ll still be where he last saw her. ~~~~~ At the Falcon’s wreckage, another Republic lander descends. The General’s personal guard emerges, followed by The General herself. She demands to know whether they found bodies, and Reed informs her that the blaze was so intense they were unable to enter the ship, but whoever was in there is certainly dead. Immediately, he begins to choke, and this time she actually raises her arm and pulls her to him, whispering through her mask directly into his face “I didn’t want to know where the bodies probably are. I wanted to see bodies. If I can’t see theirs, I may as well see yours. Go get them!” With the Force, she throws him into the burning spaceship, where he burns alive. She turns to everyone else, then notices something. She points out to the search party that there are clearly wookie tracks leading away from the wreck, which they try to explain as curious ewok scavengers. She accuses them all of insubordination, ignites her red lightsaber, and murders all eleven remaining members of the search party. Turning away from the burning Falcon, she sets out through the snow following the Wookie’s tracks. ~~~~~ Some distance away, Chewbacca kicks in the door of the abandoned imperial outpost. As he sets Huxley down, the boy begins to stir. The wookie takes Han’s gun away from him, growls at him one last time, and sets back out on his own to find the Majestic and the Starkiller, which he had previously seen on the Falcon’s tracking system. The boy comes to, demands the wookie not leave him to die, but is ultimately left defenseless. ~~~~~ Aboard the Starkiller, Luke is making his way to the Falcon’s last known location when he sees the wreckage from the air. Instead, he lands next to the Republic lander and begins using the Force to stack snow on the burning spaceship, stifling the flames. Entering the ruined ship, he discovers Han’s jacket, shed during the fight, and clutches it to his heart. He buries Han’s remains alongside the crashed Falcon, as well as the murdered soldiers, who he recognizes as having been killed with a lightsaber. He assumes at this point that they were murdered by Huxley. Finding the Wookie footprints and the human footprints, he sets out to protect Chewbacca, who he believes Huxley to be pursuing. ~~~~~ At the Imperial Outpost, Huxley is pounding on the door trying to be let out, but the wookie has long since abandoned him. Finally, he calms down, collects himself, and breathes. He notices that the vapor from his warm breath trails in a certain direction, and soon realizes that air is moving through the building. Picking up a handful of dust, he tosses it, makes note of the air’s direction, and follows it. He does this again and again, until he discovers a hole in the structure. Using rocks as tools, he bashes the edges of the ancient concrete wall away until the hole is large enough for him to climb out of. He sees the tracks of the pack of wolves, and decides to go the other way. ~~~~~ At the Majestic, the padawans and Ualan Fan are arguing about whether to leave for a safer planet or wait to hear back from the Starkiller. Ualan insists that, if they left now, they’d be able to take refuge on Kuna’s Tooth, a planet in the ewok Kuna constellation, before the Republic would know they were gone, but the padawans insist that they want to hear back from Master Skywalker first. As they’re arguing, C3PO, who is looking out the window, informs them that they are too late either way. Outside, the other Republic lander appears, and the second search team disembarks and surrounds the Majestic. Their captain, Captain Fu, informs them that they are wanted by the New Republic for questioning in relation to the crimes committed by the pirate known as Han Solo, and demands that they surrender themselves. After some deliberation, the crew decides to hide their weapons on their person and comply. When they express their intent to do so, Captain Fu even allows them to land the Majestic aboard the Avenger themselves. The Majestic and her crew depart for the Avenger. ~~~~~ Meanwhile, on the Avenger, Mothma is growing concerned that she has only heard back from one search party. She sends a battalion down to investigate, led by Sergeant Idris Rodya. They land at the Falcon’s landing site and, because the previous search party was buried, find nothing but the abandoned lander. They report this, then find the footprints and also set out into the snow. ~~~~~ The General finds the imperial outpost and shoots the door open, but finds it empty. While she’s investigating, she senses a presence with the Force. Emerging back into the open, she finds Master Luke Skywalker waiting for her. They have a brief exchange about her being a traitor to the Republic’s values, and she insists that he is a traitor to the Republic itself. Luke recognizes that argument and asks The General if she is Leia, to which she produces and ignites her red lightsaber and charges him. She attacks him viciously, while he works only to defend himself. He pleads with her to stop what she’s doing as she is falling to the dark side as he almost did decades ago. At one point, he cuts away part of her mask with his lightsaber so we can see her face underneath it, and it is indeed Leia. General Leia becomes enraged and doubles down on her attacks, which easily outweigh the injured Skywalker (who, remember, lost a hand and is fighting with his left hand and with his own lightsaber instead of the Skywalker Saber). She disarms him, cutting off his other hand, and begins to force-choke him while she lectures him about devotion to the Republic and how great he could become if he only joined her, to which he replies “You sound like our father” and uses the Force to ignite his lightsaber underneath her, injuring her foot and making her drop him. She retreats back towards the Falcon’s wreck and her transport, leaving Luke injured in the snow. ~~~~~ Off in the frozen forest, Huxley is still following the wolves’ prints when he comes across the clearing where the Jedi’s confrontation with the animals had occurred before. He finds Luke’s prosthetic hand, still clutching the Skywalker lightsaber, and he ignites it, smiling to himself. Now that he has a weapon, he turns around and cuts back towards the Falcon’s wreck. However, he is intercepted by Leia, who is overwhelmed with emotion seeing her boy all grown up. She begs him to come to her, to let her hold him, to let her nurse his wounds. He does, and together they make it back towards her landing craft at the site of the wreck of the Falcon. Huxley confirms to her that Han is dead, and though she seems remorseful, she is still happy that her son is safe with her. They board the lander and ascend towards the Avenger. ~~~~~ Luke is laying in the snow freezing to death when Yoda and Obi-Wan visit him in Force-Ghost form. They chastise him for giving up so easily and remind him that his father kept fighting until his last moments, and it was ultimately his only redemption. They then disappear. He calls out after them, and Chewbacca hears it and comes to his rescue. With Chewie’s help, he returns to the Starkiller, where they see Leia’s transport returning to the Avenger. Chewbacca pilots the Starkiller towards the Avenger while Luke installs a replacement for the mechanical hand that he lost and fashions a crude replacement claw for his other hand. Roll credits.

The decline is primarily due to the continued weak gaming environment affecting our Macau Operations, which experienced a year-over-year decrease in casino revenues of 35.5% from $3,586.8 million to $2,312.9 million. Our VIP gaming operations drove the Macau Operations casino revenue reduction, with $57.92 billion in VIP turnover for the year ended December 31, 2015, compared to $108.08 billion for the same period of 2014.

During 2015, the average daily room rate increased 2.7% and visitation increased 2.9% to 42.3 million visitors compared to 2014. In addition, Las Vegas Strip resorts experienced 2015 year-over-year increases of 0.6% and 3.3% in occupancy and revenue per available room, respectively.

On the management team's latest call with Wall Street brokers they highlighted that Macau's improving and that they'll keep up returning capital to shareholder. They even spoke of the new casino near Boston, finally getting it's construction permits. But the one thing they didn't do was talk guidance. Seems it's just not something they do! I fear the easy money's been made on WYNN the last 12 months, as folks that believe the earnings would come back got rewarded. So, how do the chips fall from here? Red Rock Casino Resort has a movie theater, bowling alley, plenty of restaurants to choose from and a large pool with cabanas to hang out and people watch. The rooms are large with great views of Las Vegas and Summerlin area. I love that it's walking distance to an outdoor mall, grocery stores, gym and more restaurants to checkout as well.
